SAN PABLO RESERVOIR REPORT: February 22, 2015

From SAN PABLO RESERVOIR Staff February 22, 2015

Trout Fishing
Bait fishing has been the best for trout. The shoreline near the Main Rec was full of anglers this week. For boater the top spot has been Grave yard cove in Scow Canyon. Majority of fish are being caught on yellow power bait or orange and green mice tails.

Catfishing
Fishing for catfish is best by the boat launch. Recent rains have increased the flow of water in the area and also clouded up the water a bit in the boat launch area. Fish using stinky bait like chicken livers or anchovies.

Bass Fishing
Lots of good size bass are being caught all around the lake. Top spots are the Rock wall, Sather Canyon and from the boat launch. Throw shad colored spinner baits or drop shot robo worms.
